Since its founding in 1985 – then still under the name SIRO-BURG DESIGN – the company has evolved from a small production facility into an internationally respected design partner. Early on, it focused on exports and was already supplying more than 20 countries in its very first year.

Milestones such as the introduction of the STRUCTURE-LINE in the 1990s, expansion into Asia, the development of sustainable product lines, and the launch of the SL OCEAN product have all shaped this success story.

Even challenging periods, such as the global financial crisis in 2009 or the restructuring in 2023, were overcome through innovation and solidarity. Today, SIBU DESIGN employs 44 people and is among the leading manufacturers of decorative surface solutions – with a clear focus on quality, sustainability, and design diversity. The new ACOUSTIC WALL PANELS product line and the establishment of a trading company in Germany demonstrate one thing: there is no such thing as standing still here.

With a machinery fleet of around 25 state-of-the-art, partly custom-built systems, SIBU DESIGN in Ternberg produces design panels that impress with far more than just their aesthetics.

Depending on customer requirements, they are made flame-retardant, highly abrasion-resistant, or seamlessly processed – always with the goal of perfectly combining design and function. Whether in elegant leather or velvet looks, modern textured panels, or high-gloss marble décors, the portfolio leaves nothing to be desired.

The panels are used in interior design, in shopfitting for well-known brands such as Zara, Ray-Ban, and Hugo Boss, in high-quality furniture, and even in the cladding of motorhomes.
